HACIENDA SAN FELIPE

Hacienda San Felipe is a 250 hectare estate in the municipality of Real De La Jara, (province of Seville), 75 kms north of Sevill, within the Natural Park of Sierra Norte. This wonderful estate, surrounded by oak woodland and rolling hills, offers a variety of landscapes, excellent views and various points of interest such as five small farm buildings distributed across the estate, a river that runs along one side of the land, two working wells that provide water throughout the year, a large 2 hectare vegetable garden with reservoir and a Roman well.

The estate has an exceptional two story building of more than 1,000 square meters that dates from the beginning of the 19th century. It is a typical construction of the period, built around a central courtyard, and surrounded by various outhouses and barns. Over the last 30 years most of these constructions have been conserved to maintain their original style. Today it consists of  the main house with 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, a central courtyard, the housekeepers 3 bedroom house, a large library, consisting of 3 distinct spaces and one bathroom, a large garden at the front of the house, a terrace on the left hand side of the main house, a patio on the right hand side of the main house, a swimming pool with a covered space, five large barns, a Garage, a wine cellar, a paddle tennis court and many other constructions.

 A separate part of the estate is dedicated to livestock. In the main house and other constructions the work done on the buildings over the last 30 years has incorporated many unique antique elements such as the wrought iron railings (which came from an abandoned convent) and the wooden beams, as well as many of the doors, windows and shutters. The house offers absolute privacy as it is not visible from outside of the estate.

 The perimeter is completely fenced and is a private hunting ground. The estate is situated around 3 kilometers from the village where you will find everything you need for day to day  living.  The house and most of the land has good mobile phone reception.
