Masia Catalan is a huge property, just 8 km north of Girona city center, with 6 hectares of private land and a house measuring about 2500m2, of which half has been renovated to a great standard of comfort. The most striking features of this house are the very generous proportions of all the living space. The English-Catalan owners have done a good job decorating, leaving the house remarkably free of clutter and allowing the house itself - its ancient walls, terra cotta floors, arched ceilings, and huge rooms - to be the main protagonist.

There is a large enclosed terrace outside the house suitable for entertaining up to 100 people. There is a table under the barn that seats more than 20 people. This is a great place for a summer barbecue and outdoor dining.

The spacious kitchen has seating for up to 8 guests. There is a large open fireplace and a door which leads to a veranda and an additional terrace perfect for al fresco dining. The dining room comfortably seats 12 and in it is an enormous olive press that was salvaged from the ground floor.

One of these is a room that can accommodate either 5 or 6 beds, making it suitable as a dormitory for children. The bathroom attached has 2 showers, perfect for the childrens' bathtime.
