A mix of tradition and avanguard, this house appears like a conceptual sculpture. It mixes the advantages of living in the countryside without renouncing a contemporary lifestyle. This "Masia" (a typical Catalan country house) was built in 1776 and refurbished with contemporary air. The house is formed by wood floors connected with a main stair. There is a mix of antique furniture with classic contemporary designs. One of the structuring elements is the stair that connects the building in the vertical direction. It is made of metal and glass to that it is transparent and you can see through all the floors from any position. It is used to divide rooms on the same floor without a door. With new renovations, a new room has been added with it's own bath on the top floor.
