The house retains as many of the original features as possible, such as roof shapes, thick walls and alcoves, whilst successfully hiding contemporary lighting within the internal roof lines, and installing fireplaces, wood burning alcoves and under-floor heating in order that the houses can be equally enjoyed during the winter months.
