The building dates back to 1880, designed and constructed by the famous architect Joaquin Pavia Birmingham, who is renowned for work in Mallorca, Majorca and Rome. During the early years of the existence of this beautiful little palace, the owners opened a leather factory where many of the boots worn by soldiers who fought in the first World War were produced.

As the area became more popular to tourists, Hotel Soller opening during the 60's. After a brief closing, Gran Soller was reborn and continues to thrive as a popular tourist attraction. Today, many guests have created a loyalty to the hotel, coming back year after year. Guests frequently comment about the hotel's personalized service.
