Situated in the heart of southern Sicily, Milizie is a newly built cottage which can be found in a charming area where old and new blend easily together. Opening the door of the property one is struck by the beauty of the Mediterranean gardens surrounding the internal courtyard and the pool that creates a color scheme of great beauty along with the facade of the ancient 18th century convent/fort.

This last building has been converted into a private house that stays empty when Milizie is rented. Five years ago the owners built the cottage by the pool. They used construction materials in line with adjacent ancient building and equipped it with modern comforts. All the rooms have air conditioning, and are mainly furnished with light colors giving a new and fresh feel. The interior is spacious and completely open plan from the living area to the kitchen and dining area. Via a large staircase one reaches the loft style floor where the bedrooms are situated.

The villa is only a 3 minute drive from the beautiful sandy beach of the village where there are shops, restaurants and a long seafront promenade to take enjoyable walks.
