Il Baffo is a luxurious village house, completely renovated, with wonderful views of olive groves, vineyards, fruit trees and the mountains. It is situated in the Lunigiana, an area of Tuscany that remains relatively untouched by tourism.

The property's decor is a contemporary style using neutral colors of beige, black and white with wooden flooring and beamed ceilings. The entrance hall leads to a comfortable living room with attractive dark green leather sofas, lovely tables and a sitting area. There is also a sunny dining room and a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel fittings and sinks with marble work surfaces.

The three bedrooms on the second floor all have ensuite or adjacent bathrooms that have state of the art white fittings and black mosaic tiling. The kitchen opens onto a large terrace, with a brick built barbecue, exterior lighting and dining furniture, the perfect spot for long lazy lunches or candlelight dinners. Steps lead down from here to the swimming pool and pool terrace with ample sun furniture set within a Japanese style garden.

The fourth double bedroom suite is in a separate part of the house, it opens onto the pool area and has an ensuite sitting area and shower room. There is a magical quality to this property with its hilltop setting and surrounding Tuscan countryside. The nearby medieval town of Fivizzano offers food shops and some excellent restaurants. In the warmer months, guests can enjoy food festivals in nearby villages or enjoy walking through the hills.
