Villa Contessa

Situated in the heart of Tuscany between Siena and Florence is Villa Contessa. Owned for centuries by an Italian aristocratic family, this villa is encircled by spectacular gardens offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Originally dating back to 1400, with additional construction undertaken between 1700-1800, the entire residence was restored in 1997.

The villa has four floors which give a total area of 1500 square meters. In front of the villa, close to the pool area, there are two guesthouses which can be rented on request to increase capacity to 35 people. All the bedrooms in the property have a private ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, telephone, safe, hairdryer and television.

The main villa, which looks similar to a castle, has various living rooms all decorated and furnished in elegant and comfortable 19th century finishings. Particularly pleasant are the various furnished terraces which offer a large range of settings in which to enjoy dinner or breakfast. A staff of seven work every day to clean the villa, carry out maintenance work, take care of the gardens and assist guests. The staff live in separate houses independent from the villa to ensure complete privacy for guests.
