This charming, luxurous and historic villa is surrounded by vineyards and is nestled in its own secluded valley amongst the rolling Chianti Hills. Originally the residence of Cardinal de Ricci in the 14th century and thereafter a monastery, it has been beautifully restored and sumptously furnished with care in retaining and enhancing the original antique features.
The entire villa sleeps up to 18 people and part of the villa can be rented for smaller groups. The nine bedrooms are all different in their decor, some having four poster beds and some retaining the original frescoes. There is a large salon and two other reception rooms with satellite TV/DVD/VCR, a dungeon bar, two dining rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also an outside canopied dining area.
With the beautiful countryside and close proximity to many famous attractions, Villa Greve is the ideal base from which to explore and enjoy the treasures of this culturally abundant region.
