Villa Pistoia

This villa, which dates back to the late 18th century, is built on three levels, and has been recently restored with high standards. Many of the original features have been retained including antique furnishings, as well as drawings, paintings and numerous family heirlooms that fill the rooms and the five large bedrooms.

In the spacious interiors the villa boasts fine old exposed beams and rafters, original polished parquet floors, terracotta tiled floors, French arched windows, and vaulted ceilings. The marvelous second level features two hand painted bedrooms whose windows trick and delight the eye and also resemble exquisite framed paintings. The terrace, fenced with old wrought iron railings, is accessible from the living room and the study via the vaulted French windows.

The panoramic terrace overlooks the swimming pool and the garden below which is partly shaded by a big lime tree and a grove of high laurels. The grounds provide a built-in grill and offer shady sitting areas to enjoy a drink or a meal all within eyesight of the swimming pool.
