There are a tremendous number of restaurants in Altea and Altea la Vella with great variety in both menu and price. The Valencia region is the birthplace of paella.

The striking Costa Blanca is known for its Sierra-like rocky mountains and fabulous weather (much like San Diego), dry, sunny and moderate.
