This city is all about food, wine and art. Barcelona is the center of the food revolution. The New York Times described Barcelona as the new Paris for food and new chefs have taken Spanish cuisine to exciting levels. One of the most famous chefs in the world, Ferran Adria and his restaurant El Bulli, located above Barcelona on the coast, has a one year waiting list to get a reservation. On the artistic side, Barcelona is hard to beat. Many 20th century artists have left their mark in Barcelona from Antonio Gaudi’s famous church and buildings to Miro, Picasso and Dali. The area is full of wonderful Museums, including the wonderful Barcelona Chocolate Museum.
