About Costa Brava

Brava in Spanish means brave, wild, ferocious and fierce -- all words that describe the beautiful Costa Brava. The coast is steep and craggy. It is 133 miles of cliffs, coves and beaches backed by pines and olives groves, running north from Blanes, northeast of Barcelona to Port Bou on the French Border. There are quaint coast towns such as San Feliu, S'Agaro, Palamos, Palagrugell, Llafranc and others further up the coast as Cadaques and Rosas. This is a special part of the Costa Brava and home to the Dali Museum and also the famous restaurant El Bulli.
