About Valencia and Environs
Spain's third most populated city is booming. Tourists from around the world flock to the Gulf of Valencia to experience nautical adventures, fantastic weather, and limitless nightlife opportunities. The city has also become a cultural center, particularly with the "City of Arts in Sciences" complexes, which include an opera house, oceanographic park, science center, planetarium, and gardens. Valencia was the host to the World Cup in 2007 attracting visitors from all over the world. Outside the city there are plenty of additional attractions, including the formidable Biar Castle and picturesque mountain ranges to the west.
